Well, this is quite embarrassing.
As the NFL playoffs continue to move on, the league could find themselves with a huge issue if game outcomes make it where the Los Angeles Chargers are hosting the AFC Championship game.
This scenario is not likely, but it is definitely possible. There’s a chance the Chargers could host the AFC Championship game next week if they defeat the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts beat the Kansas City Chiefs. That would mean the AFC Title game would be held in 30,000-seat Dignity Health Sports Park, a soccer stadium that the team has a problem filling with their own fan base for two years now.
According to several reports, the league has had discussions about moving the game to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The temporary home of the Los Angeles Rams, who are hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday.
Not the ideal thing the league want to do, considering that if the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the New Orleans Saints and the Rams defeat the Cowboys — the AFC Title and NFC Title game could be held at the same stadium.
