There’s no shortage of NFL coaches who are on the hot seat entering Week 10, namely Mike McCarthy (Dallas Cowboys), Brian Daboll (New York Giants), Kevin Stefanski (Cleveland Browns), Doug Pederson (Jacksonville Jaguars) and Antonio Pierce (Las Vegas Raiders).
So far in 2024, two NFL head coaches have been let go: Robert Saleh of the New York Jets and Dennis Allen of the New Orleans Saints. According to the latest betting odds, Brian Daboll is the front-runner to join the list next.
Bookies.com lists Daboll as the favorite to be the next NFL head coach fired at +250. The aforementioned Doug Pederson was previously the front-runner, but his odds are now behind Daboll at +375.
McCarthy has the third-highest odds at +450, followed by Stefanski (+600) and Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus (+650). Interestingly, Nick Sirianni of the Philadelphia Eagles is on that list (+1500) even though his team boasts a 6-2 record heading into Week 10.

Brian Daboll won NFL Coach of the Year honors in 2022 after leading the Giants to a 9-6-1 record and playoff berth. They went on to upset the 13-win Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round, seemingly beginning a new promising era of Giants football.

But the Giants came back to earth last season and finished a disappointing 6-11, prompting Daboll to part ways with defensive coordinator Don ‘Wink’ Martindale. The change hasn’t brought new results, as the Giants are a woeful 2-7 heading into Sunday’s tilt with the Carolina Panthers.
Brian Daboll Isn’t The Problem For The Giants
There’s a real possibility that Daboll will be shown the door if his team loses to a hapless Carolina team on Sunday. But even if the G-Men let Daboll go, it won’t do much to fix their issues.
They have stayed committed to one of the league’s worst quarterbacks in Daniel Jones for six (!) years. They let franchise star Saquon Barkley walk for nothing in free agency and have watched him enjoy an MVP-caliber season in Philly. They have a horrible offensive line, a woeful secondary and no game-changing playmakers outside of rookie Malik Nabers.
