Myles Garrett has been released from the hospital after being involved in a serious car crash when leaving the team’s training facility on Monday.
The Cleveland Brown star defensive end was discharged from the hospital late Monday night with non-life-threatening injuries after his Porsche 911 Turbo S rolled several times when he reportedly swerved on a wet road to avoid hitting an animal, the NFL Network reported Tuesday.
Police said Garrett and the passenger were both wearing their seatbelts. Neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the accident.
All things considered, it sounds like this situation could have been much worse for Garrett after seeing pictures of the car.
Garrett’s status for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons is still unknown.
