Just tragic news to report today after four people were critically wounded in a shooting at a Beverly Hills house party held for an NFL player, according to reports.
According to the LA Times, the LAPD received a call about the large party where cops were told by a man who said the party was being thrown for an unidentified NFL player.
“We have money. We are people. This COVID, I mean, is just pushing us out everywhere, and we have nothing, so the only thing we do have is Airbnbs to rent swimming pools for our kids, to do big things and things of that nature,” security manager Kennie Leggett said.
The company that manages the rental property said that it had advised the renters that the party was a serious breach of the rental agreement and asked them to vacate the property immediately, CBS Los Angeles reported.
“We don’t know which player, we don’t know which team,” said CBS LA correspondent Brittney Hopper, who described buses arriving with “hundreds of people.”
One of the revelers said that “a bunch of gangsters came in and robbed everybody and started shooting,” The Sun reported.
