It was just one week ago when a damning report surfaced that stated Odell Beckham Jr. had been telling other players and coaches to “come get me” in at least one game in October when the Browns played the 49ers, Seahawks, and Patriots.
It looks like he isn’t the only one who wants out.
Just before the Cleveland Browns lost 38-24 to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, a source told Mike Silver that multiple players on the Browns screamed over the Cardinals sideline to “come get me.”
Landry, who was seen yelling at Freddie Kitchens during the game, explained to reporters that he was simply asking for the ball.
“I just went and asked for the ball,’’ Landry said, via Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. “I just went and asked for the ball to try to get involved in the game to help. That’s pretty much it.”
“Again, I just went and asked for the ball,’’ Landry added. “I felt like I hadn’t touched the ball since the first quarter, and we’re inside of 10 minutes in the fourth, and I still hadn’t touched the ball. Well, that play I touched the ball. So you know.”
