Besides Ben Roethlisberger and maybe JuJu-Smith Schuster, it was basically clear to everybody that the Pittsburgh Steelers were dealing with the attitude of Antonio Brown because he is easily one of the top-3 wide receivers in the NFL, if not #1 overall.
On Friday, that was pretty much confirmed when Mike Tomlin reportedly told players for years that he would tolerate the disgruntled wide receiver for as long as he continues to produce numbers on the field.
A report from ESPN stated that the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach had gotten sick and tired of Brown being tardy all the time, and the situation would eventually be addressed, just as soon as he started to decline in production on the field.
“[Tomlin] essentially told the group, we’ll tolerate it now because of what he brings on the field, but the minute production stops, you don’t overlook it,” one unnamed ex-Steeler said.
ESPN went on to confirm with at least 20 current or former Steelers that issues with Brown and the organization had been going on for quite some time.
“This has been brewing for years,” one ex-teammate said. “It’s just now coming to the surface. And it’s probably over.”
Despite his behavior before Week 17 that caused him to be suspended for the game as well as his social media behavior during the offseason, we are still not sure if the team is going to cut him loose.

If what Tomlin says was true, the organization is not likely to move on since he did put up 104 catches for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns in 15 games last season.
