Michael Thomas has played in just one game all season long, and it appears he would like to keep it that way.
The camp of Michael Thomas has reportedly tried to get another team to make a trade offer to the New Orleans Saints before the Nov. 3 deadline, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football talk.
The Saints would absorb a $20 million cap charge if Thomas is traded. The all-pro WR signed a five-year, $100 million contract extension with the Saints in 2019.
It was just last week when Sean Payton responded to claims that the Saints may be willing to trade WR Michael Thomas for the right return:
In 2020, Thomas has appeared in one game for the Saints and caught three passes for 17 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
