On Wednesday ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Melvin Gordon’s holdout could possibly becoming to an end.
Ian Rapoport confirms a report by Branson Wright that the disgruntled running back could rejoin the team as soon as Thursday.
The Chargers had previously granted Gordon’s representatives permission to seek a trade, but teams around the league were unwilling to part ways with the first and fifth-round pick the Chargers are asking for Gordon.
Gordon is reportedly seeking a deal worth closer to $13 million per season.
