When the Los Angeles Rams traded Jared Goff to the Detroit Lions for Matt Stafford, it was looked at as a move that would make them a Super Bowl contender.
The 7-3 Rams then went out and added Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr., but things may come crashing down in the end for their star quarterback.
On Sunday, ESPN’s Dianna Russini reported that Stafford has been dealing with a ton of pain to his arom, while also having elbow issues and chronic back pain every day.
“Stafford’s arm has been in a lot of pain, he has elbow pain and his back has a chronic issue that he deals with every single day. His health is certainly an issue.”
The Rams are currently in second place in the NFC West behind the 9-2 Cardinals.
It has been far from smooth sailing for Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams in their last two games. In the losses to the Tennessee Titans and the San Francisco 49ers, Stafford has combined for 537 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions.

Despite his declined play in recent weeks, Stafford remains one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the NFL this season.
On the season, Stafford has completed 67.68% of his throws for 3,014 yards, 24 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 10 games.
