It looks like the New York Giants have more than just issues at the quarterback position this offseason to think about after reports surfaced that Landon Collins cleaned out his locker on Wednesday.
According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, the Giants safety cleaned out his locker and said goodbye to teammates.
Then, a report from New Post writer Paul Schwartz stated that Collins had not cleaned out his locker, to which Collins responded as to why he left it like that:
If the New York Giants choose to do so, they can franchise tag him for $11.2 million, but it seems his reaction today might show that there are no ongoing negotiations to make that happen.
There’s still nearly two weeks left in the window to use the tag.
