It looks like Kenyan Drake will be the latest to leave the Miami Dolphins in 2019.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reported on Sunday that trade talks are progressing involving Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake, so much so, that he will not travel with the team for Monday’s game against the Steelers.
Adam Schefter of ESPN had already reported there was a “strong possibility” of the Dolphins trading RB Kenyan Drake before Tuesday’s trade deadline, stating multiple teams had called Miami about Drake that included the Titans and Lions.
The 25-year-old Drake is in line to be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
Drake has appeared in six games for the Dolphins and rushed for 174 yards on 47 carries (3.7 YPC) to go along with 22 receptions for 174 yards receiving and no touchdowns during the 2-19 season.
