The Jacksonville Jaguars have been on an mission to drop just about every talented player they had on the roster when they made their run to the AFC Championship game just a few years ago.
Next up appears to be Yannick Ngakoue.
On Tuesday, it was reported from Mike Garafolo that the franchise have received interest from multiple teams regarding a trade for the defensive end.
The Jaguars officially used their franchise tag on Ngakoue, which will cost them around $17.9 million fully guaranteed for the 2020 season. It should also be noted that he has not signed that tender.
The 25-year-old former third-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2016 played in 15 games in 2019 and recorded 41 tackles, eight sacks, an interception, a defensive touchdown, four forced fumbles, a recovery and six passes defended.
