The New York Jets expect several significant changes this offseason.
With Zach Wilson likely to be playing elsewhere in 2024, having obtained permission to speak to other teams, Aaron Rodgers should be the main man again. The Jets want to give the veteran quarterback the best receiving options they can.
As such, uSTADIUM reports having spoken to Jets reporter Connor Hughes, who revealed that the team will be chasing the top free-agent wide receivers available, with Calvin Ridley the most sought-after target at the moment.
The Jets are expected to aggressively pursue the former Second-Team All-Pro wideout, having already made attempts to land him in the past.
Davante Adams was expected to be a target for the Jets in 2024 but, with Antonio Pierce being handed the Raiders head coaching job on a full-time basis, there’s zero chance of the star WR wanting out of Las Vegas now.
