Back in February 2021, Gisele Bündchen congratulated her husband, Tom Brady, on the field after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback won his seventh Super Bowl title and reportedly said, “What more do you have to prove?” the former supermodel asked, perhaps hinting for him to retire.
As you saw, he did not retire.
Brady will turn 45 before the 2022 season begins and we are still not sure if he is coming back or not. His wife and world-renowned supermodel Gisele Bundchen is apparently a big catalyst in his decision.
There’s a growing belief that Bundchen wants Brady to call it a career and retire this offseason.
“There’s a belief that Mrs. Brady, otherwise known as Gisele Bundchen, has laid down the law with her husband,” writes Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. “That, regardless of whether he wants to keep playing in 2022 and beyond, she’s telling him that 22 seasons are more than enough.”
“I don’t think proving it for me is the motivation,” Brady stated on “Good Morning America” last year. “I still want to play. I got like a little sickness in me that just wants to throw a frickin’ spiral, you know what I mean?”

“Also, about football, once you stop you can’t go back and do it. I got some more football in me ― not a lot, and I know that, but what I got left, I’m gonna give everything I got.”
The former Patriots star recently signed a contract extension with the Buccaneers that could keep him on the field through the 2022 season.
It appears his wife would like for him to come home so they can enjoy their lavish life together.
