Former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr was arrested on Thursday, jail records show.
According to a report by KDFW, Carr was released on a $1,500 bond following his arrest.
A fifth-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2008 NFL Draft, Carr enjoyed a long career as an NFL cornerback that saw him gain fame with the Dallas Cowboys.
Carr played for the Cowboys for from 2012 to 2016, intercepting 7 passes. He then left to play with the Baltimore Ravens, before re-signing with the Cowboys in 2020, playing in 3 games.
He started 192 consecutive games, the most for a defensive player in the NFL from the time he was drafted in 2008 onwards.
