Ezekiel Elliott really needs to get a better handle on his dogs.
According to police, the Dallas Cowboys running back has been cited after one of his dogs bit two people on Thursday and sent them both to the hospital. Three dogs, later determined to belong to Elliott, had been loose.
A Rottweiler is said to have been placed in a 10-day quarantine after it bit two different people. The other two dogs were returned to him. Frisco police cited Elliott with three citations, one per animal, of Dog at Large, an offense punishable by a fine of no more than $100 per citation.
In June of 2020, a swimming pool attendant filed a civil lawsuit against Elliott, seeking financial compensation after she was “ambushed” by three dogs.
The woman claims the dogs bit her several times and she needed surgery. She was damages between $200,000 and $999,999.
