Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson seems to have a strong relationship with Ezekiel Elliott. So much so that he actually speaks with his agent about what’s currently going on with him as he continues to holdout from training camp.
Appearing on FS1’s Undisputed, Dickerson revealed that he spoke to Elliott’s agent over the weekend and he reportedly told him that it “really is possible” that Elliott will miss some games this season.
He also seemed to guarantee that Dallas would “probably win one” of four games without his client.
“I talked to Zeke’s agent yesterday, and he said, ‘It’s possible. It really is possible he will miss some games.’ He wants to play, but this is business. Zeke’s the best player on that football team. If he misses 4 weeks, I guarantee you they’ll probably win 1.”
Along with Ezekiel Elliott holding out is also running back Melvin Gordon who is also seeking a new deal.
Jerry and Stephen Jones have already gone on record to state they don’t want to be market setters with new deals coming to Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, and Ezekiel Elliott. Huge deals could hurt the team’s chances of playing for a Super Bowl, somewhere they haven’t been since 1996.
