Yesterday it was reported that the Dallas Cowboys had extended a contract offer to Ezekiel Elliot that would make him the second-highest paid running back in the NFL — ahead of Le’Veon Bell and behind only Todd Gurley.
Most people seemed to think this was a pretty good deal for Zeke, but apparently the Cowboys star running back and his camp don’t feel the same way.
According to Fox Sports’ Travis Clay, Zeke has turned down the Cowboys’ latest offer:

At this point is seems as though this deal won’t be resolved until the Cowboys finally decide that Elliott deserves to be the highest paid running back in the league. Whether or not we ever get to that point remains to be seen.
