Fox has the Super Bowl next year, and it has already lost its top NFL game analyst, Troy Aikman, to ESPN. Joe Buck has one more year left on his contract and the Worldwide Leader in Sports is trying to grab him as well.
Now, Fox Sports may be losing yet another prominent face as reporter, Erin Andrews, will become a free agent shortly. According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Erin Andrews could be the next big name to leave when her deal ends soon.
“ESPN would have interest in talking with Andrews, according to sources, about a return to the network where she started. However, there have been no discussions yet.”
ESPN recently signed Lisa Salters to continue on its sidelines. Salters is expected to stay in her role on the Aikman-led MNF.
Before FOX, Andrews was at ESPN from 2004-2012 covering college football among other sports. However, she had always wanted to get a shot at the NFL.
Years ago, she told Rich Eisen why she decided to make the tough decision to leave ESPN for a new challenge in her career at FOX.

“It was time. I probably called you [Eisen], I called a lot of people about it. I felt like I had done everything I was going to be allowed to do there,” she said. “I wanted to really be a part of the NFL. I had done 3-4 championship games, I had done College Gameday. I just knew if I was going to have a shot at the NFL, it was going to be at FOX.”
