The warrant that was issued on Earl Thomas has finally been completed after the free agent player was taken into custody.
Thomas is charged with a third-degree felony for violating a protective order two or more times within 12 months. Via court records, Thomas was arrested in Orange County, Texas on Friday, May 13.
Thomas is facing a third-degree felony charge for allegedly violating this protective order two or more times within a year. Per 12 News, he is supposed to communicate with the woman strictly through a co-parenting phone application.
Thomas allegedly texted her: “I hope u in the car with him and the kids and yall drive off the road.”
The Seahawks selected Thomas with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
In 125 games (all starts) with the Seahawks, Thomas earned six of his seven Pro Bowl picks. He totaled 465 tackles (11 for loss), 28 interceptions (67 pass breakups) and 11 forced fumbles (five recoveries).

Thomas signed a four-year contract for $55 million ($32 million guaranteed) with the Ravens in March of 2019.
He would be cut from the team after an altercation during practice. He has not been signed since.
