For the second straight season, Nick Foles had to come in as the back-up to save the Philadelphia Eagles, this time reeling off win after win to get them into the playoffs and possibly make yet another deep playoff run and hopefully to the Super Bowl.
The team is enjoying rallying behind Foles, but reality will soon hit as the franchise knows they won’t be able to depend on Foles past this postseason and they are expected to traded him during the offseason, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
As you heard above, the Eagles were offered a 2nd-round pick by an unknown team, but turned it down as it didn’t seem like enough for a QB that had just won the Super Bowl. This time around might be different.
Foles is expected to be one of the most coveted and in-demand quarterbacks in the entire league.
