After being traded by the Seattle Seahawks to the Philadelphia Eagles — Michael Bennett produced the second most sacks he’s ever had in an entire season, but it seems like it wasn’t enough to keep him around.
The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly discussing the possibility of trading the veteran defensive end, according to according to Geoff Mosher of ESPN Philadelphia.
The Eagles just gave Brandon Graham a three-year, $40 million extension and are likely looking for suitable trade partners that could possibly alleviate some cap room to make other moves.
The 33-year-old Bennett is a versatile defender who was able to play inside and outside, and was a steady contributor during the 2018 season.
