We could be headed for another offseason with plenty of shuffling at the quarterback position across the league, as the New Orleans Saints are the latest team that could be looking for another signal caller.
According to reports out of ESPN, this could be the final season for Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who is expected to retire at the conclusion of the team’s 2020 campaign.
Drew Brees and the Saints have already clinched the NFC South title, and they’ll be looking to go on a deep run this postseason. Perhaps Brees’ pending retirement will provide them with the motivation required to finally get them over the hump and back into the Super Bowl?
