The Kansas City Chiefs had to move Travis Kelce’s VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium after the world learned of his romance with Taylor Swift, the world’s biggest music star.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift began their highly-publicized relationship around September 2023. She all but confirmed the rumors when she attended the Chiefs’ Week 3, 2023 home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
Predictably, Swift’s presence at Chiefs home games created so much chaos and excitement at Arrowhead Stadium. But it got so worrisome for fans sitting in a nearby section that Kelce’s VIP suite had to be moved.
Pete Grathoff of The Kansas City Star spoke to Chiefs superfan Pam Hatcher, who’s held season tickets for over half a century. Hatcher was sitting just two rows away from the suite occupying Swift at the aforementioned Chiefs-Bears 2023 game.
According to Hatcher, the scene was so chaotic around there that Travis Kelce’s suite was moved from suite 121 to 119 (where Swift continues to watch Chiefs games) due to fans’ concerns “about being trampled.” Hatcher states that it’s been much calmer ever since:
“We ended up with like eight Jackson County Sheriffs down there, and over 18 Arrowhead security (members), and they still couldn’t handle it. It was a mess. We left when there was about 10 minutes left in the third quarter, because we were worried about being trampled.
You only can get to it from the elevators and you only can get to it from the club level. After she sat in our section at 121, she moved directly to 119 in that same suite she’s been there ever since. It’s much better. Everybody’s calmed down about it.”

Swift attended 13 Chiefs games last year, including all four playoff games. She performed a concert in Tokyo, Japan, the day before Super Bowl 58 but flew back to the United States in plenty of time to witness Travis Kelce and the Chiefs pull off the three-peat.
Travis Kelce & Chiefs Host Texans On Saturday
The back-to-back Super Bowl champions will continue their three-peat bit on Saturday when they play host to C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans in a Divisional Round clash. This is a rematch from their Week 16 game that Kansas City won 27-19 to improve to 14-1 on the year.
No team in NFL history has won three straight Super Bowl championships, and the 2023 Chiefs became the first team to repeat since the 2003 and ’04 New England Patriots. Now, Kansas City finds themselves just three victories away from making special history.
