Kansas City Chiefs tight end has reportedly made a decision on who he’s voting for in the upcoming 2024 United States presidential election.
The 34-year-old Travis Kelce hasn’t publicly endorsed Republican Donald Trump or Democratic nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris, but it sounds like he’ll be voting blue for the Nov. 5 election.
Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, took to Instagram to to endorse Harris following yesterday’s presidential debate. And according to a new report, Kelce will follow suit and endorse Harris as well.
A source told the Daily Mail that Travis Kelce will “soon” endorse Kamala Harris, and that the the three-time Super Bowl champion was “proud of” Taylor Swift for expressing her beliefs ahead of the election:
“Travis will definitely be endorsing Kamala and will be doing it very soon – perhaps within the next day or so. After Taylor revealed her endorsement for Kamala, Travis knew what he had to do. He understood the assignment.
He was very proud of Taylor for finally speaking out and he supports her in everything she does, this will be no different. They share the same beliefs and ideals and goals, and this is one of them.
Together they both know that they can make a greater impact on fans and voters than either one of them alone.”

Kelce’s teammate, Patrick Mahomes, has stated on numerous occasions that he won’t be using his platform to endorse a candidate. That’s a contrary of Brittany Mahomes, who has offered support for Donald Trump on Instagram.
In May 2020, Swift criticized Trump’s responses to the George Floyd protests and vowed that he’d be voted out in November. Democratic nominee Joe Biden defeated Trump, marking the first unsuccessful U.S. presidential re-election bid since George H.W. Bush in 1992.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been together for a year. She was in attendance for the Chiefs’ Kickoff Game against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium last week, a 27-20 Kansas City victory.
Travis Kelce & Chiefs Welcome The Bengals On Sunday
The Chiefs got past another Super Bowl contender in Week 1. Up next, they’ll welcome another AFC rival in Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in a rematch of the 2021 and 2022 AFC Championship Games.
Burrow was sidelined (season-ending wrist injury) for the Bengals-Chiefs game last year. He is 3-1 against Kansas City, with the only defeat coming on a late Harrison Butker field goal in the 2022 AFC Championship Game.
The Bengals lost their season opener 16-10 to the New England Patriots on Sunday. With a loss, Cincy would fall to 0-2 to begin the season for a third straight year.
