Tom Brady’s unmatched work ethic that largely defined his playing career has carried over to his next gig as an NFL analyst for FOX.
The 47-year-old Tom Brady will begin his broadcasting career in four days in Cleveland, when the Browns play host to the Dallas Cowboys. Brady will be on the network’s top commentary team of play-by-play voice Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporter Erin Andrews.
To get an idea of just how much work an NFL analyst has to put in before they call games, allow Brady to help out. Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports detailed how Brady and Burkhardt prepared ahead of their first season together in the booth:
“Sources say Brady and play-by-play partner Kevin Burkhardt have cycled through a full 17-game schedule of practice games before making their regular-season debut with Fox Sports. The 47-year-old legend is as fixated on succeeding in his new TV career as he was on the field with the Patriots.”
In the 2022 offseason, the seven-time Super Bowl champion and FOX agreed to a massive 10-year deal worth $375 million. Tom Brady took a year off following his playing career in 2023, before recharging his batteries to begin the next chapter of his career.

With Brady taking over as the analyst on FOX’s top commentary team, former Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen has been moved to the No. 2 team, where he’ll work alongside play-by-play voice Joe Davis.
Brady and Burkhardt will also be on the call for Super Bowl 59 on Feb. 11. The big game will be held inside the New Orleans Saints’ home venue, the Caesars Superdome.
Tom Brady Should Flourish At FOX
