Well, that will just about do it.
On Sunday, Chris Mortensen reported that it did not matter which head coach was hired with the Texans, it would not change Deshaun Watson’s thinking about wanting out.
The rift between Watson and the Texans goes back to how the Texans handled their head coaching and general manager search, and event hough the team is trying to make things right, it appears it is way too late.
Any team looking to acquire Watson would have to unload a young promising QB as well as an assortment of draft picks for years to come.
In 2020, Watson appeared in all 16 games for the Texans and completed 70.2 percent of his passes for 4,823 yards with 33 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
