Dan Snyder has been the Washington Commanders owner since 1999, but they may all be changing fairly soon.
The amount of scandals Snyder has been under and is currently under has truly has the country confused as to how he can still be an owner in the National Football League. The new allegations of financial impropriety by the Washington Commanders are taking shape, and the NFL would be unhappy with team owner Dan Snyder if the accusations turn out to be true.
A.J. Perez of FrontOfficeSports.com reported on Saturday night that Congress is investigating claims of the team potentially withholding money that should have been surrendered to the league’s visiting-team pool. This could be the final nail in the coffin for Snyder.
Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio is hearing that this could be it for Snyder.
“As a league source with knowledge of the dynamics among owners told PFT, this would become Snyder’s “death knell” as an owner, if it’s proven to be true,” he reported.
