Following his strong performance with the St. Louis Battlehawks in the UFL this past 2024 season, linebacker Willie Harvey Jr. is getting set to prove that he has what it takes in the NFL after signing a deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero previously reported that the Dallas Cowboys were bringing the 28-year-old Iowa State alum in for a workout.
Harvey has been signed before, as the Cleveland Browns picked him up as an undrafted free agent in 2019. However, he went between their active roster, practice squad, and free agency over the next three years.
Willie Harvey Jr. appeared in two regular-season games for the Browns in 2019 and two more during the 2021 season, recording two tackles.
Harvey would eventually continue his career with the Battlehawks, who selected him in the 2022 XFL draft.
