The Dallas Cowboys may have landed their first big-name free agent when they signed former Atlanta Falcons defensive end Dante Fowler, but it appears as though they’re not done yet.
Looking to beef up their pass-rush even more, Jerry Jones and company reportedly have their sights set on former Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Jason Pierre-Paul.
The pass-rushing department has become a key talking-point for Cowboys fans and the media alike this offseason. It all started with the Randy Gregory drama, as the star defensive end was reported by many outlets to be re-signing with Dallas, before doing a complete 180 and ditching the ‘Boys for the Denver Broncos.
Then, the Cowboys lost out in their pursuit of Von Miller, watching the two-time Super Bowl champion go to Buffalo instead.
Those were two big “L’s” for Dallas this offseason, on top of losing other key players like Amari Cooper, La’el Collins and Connor Williams. Signing JPP to accompany Fowler would certainly help make up for some of those earlier offseason losses.
