Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are trying to shake up the NFL Draft.
According to Cowboys insider Mike Fisher, “Dallas is trying to trade up into top 14 or so” and are “‘desperate’ to do so, with one pinpointed target.”
Jerry Jones suggested that the Cowboys have been talking to teams.
“We always chum,” Jones said during Tuesday’s pre-draft press conference here inside The Star when asked specifically about Dallas being on the phone with other teams. “You do that. … You are always talking about possibilities or things.”
It is not entirely clear who the team is targeting if they do indeed trade up that far.

The Cowboys have made 71 draft-day trades since Jones took over the franchise in 1989. The Cowboys have the 24th overall pick Thursday.
