After seeing the Philadelphia Eagles sign their star quarterback to a massive contract extension, Dallas Cowboys fans will now have to sit and wait to see what type of money the franchise is going to throw at Dak Presoctt.
Well, this next report is not going to make the fan base feel any better.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are said to be far apart in contract talks and discussions on a contract extension could possibly linger well into training camp before it’s all said and done.
According to that same report, both sides are said to pick up negotiations and further dialogue at a later date.
Prescott is getting set to hit enter the final year of his four-year rookie contract, with him making $2.025 million in base salary for the 2019 season.
