The Indianapolis Colts are yet to hire a head coach ahead of next season, but it isn’t as if they aren’t trying.
Owner Jim Irsay is understood to be hellbent on signing interim HC Jeff Saturday to the role but the Colts are still in the process of interviewing candidates.
It’s been reported that some bizarre behavior from Irsay prevented the Colts from landing Josh McDaniels. McDaniels had Irsay at his house during the interview process and it’s said that the coach’s wife told him not to take the job because of certain things Irsay did during the visit, which included an absurdly long spell in the couple’s bathroom.
Irsay is on the hunt again and, according to Albert Breer (who has been cited by Dov Kleiman), the owner has been holding interviews with prospective coaches that last up to 12 hours.
