On Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the NFL has arranged a workout opportunity this Saturday in Atlanta for free agent QB Colin Kaepernick for teams “to evaluate his readiness and level of interest in resuming his NFL career.”
Kaepernick’s agents have said he wants to return to the NFL.
All 32 teams are invited to attend and take video of both the workout as well the interview if they choose to do so.
The former second-round pick of the 49ers back in 2010 has not played in the league since the end of 2016.
The 32-year-old completed 59.2 percent of his passes for 2,241 yards and 16 touchdowns and four interceptions, while adding 468 yards rushing during that 2016 season.
