The Miami Dolphins are in desperate need for a starting level quarterback in 2019 after they traded former 1st-round pick Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans on Friday.
Their attempt to get Teddy Bridgewater failed, which leaves them with only Luke Falk and Jake Rudock at quarterback. If they need a filler QB at the position, then they could have their pick of Brock Osweiler, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Blake Bortles.
If not, Colin Kaepernick still remains a free agent some 2 years after he opted out of his contract with the 49ers.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Kaepernick is interested in the Dolphins job.
“Yes, he’s training hard and ready to play,” a source close to the quarterback told La Canfora.
If you’re the Dolphins, what exactly do you have to lose in a rebuilding franchise?
