Minkah Fitzpatrick is a seriously wanted man in the NFL.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported on Sunday that the Dolphins are “likely” to trade the defensive back and it will likely come as soon as this week.
La Canfora says that Fitzpatrick is the only Dolphins player who has requested a trade and Miami has given him permission to shop around for a deal.
He has plenty of suitors as the report goes on to say that roughly 20 teams have reached out to his agent or the Dolphins about Fitzpatrick.
Miami is reportedly looking for a first-round pick, but Chris Mortensen reported teams view Miami’s asking price for Fitzpatrick as “too high.”
The 22-year-old is currently in the second year of his four-year, $16,509,174 contract that included a $10,086,672 signing bonus.
