On Sunday, Cleveland Browns fans booed Baker Mayfield multiple times in the second half of Sunday’s 13-10 victory over the winless Detroit Lions.
Mayfield had a salty reaction to it.
“Those are probably the same fans that won’t be quiet while we’re on offense and trying to operate,” the Cleveland quarterback said Monday. “So, don’t really care.”
Mayfield declined to speak to reporters after a game in which he posted a putrid QBR of 8.6.
Aside from his play on the field, Mayfield has likely lost the trust of some of the players on the team over him not fixing the situation with Odell Beckham Jr.
FOX Sports 1 personality Skip Bayless stated a trusted source informed him that the Browns locker room is “very close” to turning on Mayfield over the Odell Beckham Jr. situation.

If Baker’s struggles continue, the Browns may not pick up the signal-caller’s fifth-year option.
The Browns have actually won 2 of their last three games, but their performance against a winless Detroit Lions team was less than impressive.
The team is 6-5 and in 4th place in the AFC North. This, after a season where they went to the playoffs without Odell and defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round.
