We may have a reason why the Houston Texans have not attempted to try and interview Kansas Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
It was reported earlier this week that the Houston Texans QB was upset with the team for not even putting in a request to interview Bieniemy, but it appears the feelings are not mutual with him wanting the job there.
According to former Patriots tight end turned analyst Christian Fauria — Bieniemy wants nothing to do with the job.
Bill O’Brien served as head coach from 2014 to 2020 and as de facto general manager since 2019. Watson was promised by owner Cal McNair to be included in both hirings, both we found out this week he wasn’t even told about the hiring of Nick Caserio.
“some things never change….” Watson tweeted and later deleted on the heels of Caserio’s hiring.
