In a world where most of everyone is stuck at home trying to stay in quarantine, Bashaud Breeland is out and about getting himself in trouble to the point that it will likely affect him and his team during the 2020 season.
On Tuesday, it was reported by Adam Teicher of ESPN that the Kansas City Chiefs cornerback was arrested in York County, South Carolina.
The report goes on to state that he faces a slew of charges that include resisting arrest, having alcohol in a motor vehicle with the seal broken, having an open container of beer or wine in a motor vehicle, possession of 28 grams or less of marijuana or 10 grams of hash, and driving without a license.
“The Chiefs said they were aware of the situation but would have no further comment. Breeland’s agent, Brad Leshnock, did not return a message requesting comment.”
The 28-year-old started 15 games last season for the Chiefs and even had an interception in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV victory over San Francisco.
Breeland recently re-signed with the Chiefs on another one-year contract.
