Just last season, the Los Angeles Chargers shocked the football world by playing damn good football to qualify for the postseason and even defeat the Baltimore Ravens to move on to face the New England Patriots where they would go on to lose.
Many expected the team to be good this season as well, but that hasn’t happened so far as they currently sit at 2-5 in 2019.
Quarterback Philip Rivers has been a staple of the franchise for his entire career, but he is 28-years-old and the team is reportedly “seriously considering” moving on from him. The move could actually come next summer, with the franchise reportedly having their eyes set on LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, who is currently 8-0 with the second ranked Tigers.
Only time will tell.
