In January 2018, Bruce Arians retired after the Arizona Cardinals ended their season with a win over the Seattle Seahawks in the regular season finale.
With five years of coaching with the Cardinals, Arians racked up a 50-32 record including the playoffs and steps away as the winningest coach in franchise history. He went 34-14 in his first three seasons at the helm, including a run to the NFC Championship Game in the 2015 season.
Those are the type of numbers to make other franchises blush and kick the tires to see if he would be interested in making a head coaching comeback somewhere else.
It turns out he did, after it was reported Arians was interested in the opening in Tampa Bay after they fired their head coach.
According to Panthers Beat Writer Sheena Quick and other reports, he is expected to be announced as the newest Bucs head coach this week.
