If Cleveland Browns fans had dreams of having a fresh start in 2020 with a new head coach, they can forget it, because those dreams turned into nightmares.
According to NFL Networks Ian Rapoport, Cleveland’s management remain steadfast in keeping Kitchens and have high hopes that he can achieve success as the head coach of the franchise for many years to come.
“Sources say Browns management continues to stand with Kitchens and wants him to continue to have the success necessary to remain in that position for a long time. As the end of the regular season looms, the speculation about job security is at its peak.
But as of right now, barring a horrific collapse or circumstance to end the season, it appears the Browns will be moving forward with Kitchens.”
Cleveland faces the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15 as they cling on to their slim playoff hopes during a season in which they came in as the most hyped squad during the offseason.
After the Cardinals, the team will face off against the Ravens and Bengals to end their 2019 season.
