Bill O’Brien is the most disliked man in the entire city of Houston right now after he traded star WR DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals for basically nothing.
He has been the subject of public scorn from the Houston Texans fan base, former players, as well as on every sports show in America. Unfortunately, he has also been the subject of death threats.
Jay Glazer of The Athletic shared this news:
“Bill O’Brien has gotten thrashed this offseason. I know that people have sent threats his way. C’mon people, it’s just football! Let’s not send death threats or any violent threats toward anyone in any sport. It’s just sports. It’s supposed to be escapism.”
One look on Twitter and you can see just how many people have talked about him dying or killing him because of his decisions.

Being upset that O’Brien traded away one of the best receivers in the game is one thing, but wanting to take his life is just downright ridiculous.
O’Brien has a 52-44 win-loss record as the head of the Texans, but only 2 wins in six playoff games. The franchise has still never played in an AFC Title game.
