Justin Fields is surprisingly still on the Chicago Bears roster as the 2024 NFL Draft approaches.
The quarterback is understood to be available for a trade as the Bears are reportedly set on drafting Caleb Williams with their No. 1 overall pick. But there hasn’t been much action where he’s concerned, and recent reports have noted that all of the teams interested in a move want him as a backup.
Fields is now being linked to the Philadelphia Eagles, a Super Bowl-contending team that already boasts a superstar QB.
Multiple NFL insiders have put the Eagles in the mix for Fields, who would play understudy to Jalen Hurts should he end up there.
Rumors of a potential trade to Philly began doing the rounds on Monday.

The Eagles were also named as the team that would be willing to send a late pick to Chicago in exchange for Fields during a conversation between Rich Eisen and Albert Breer.
“But give me a team that might be willing to send a third day draft pick now,” Eisen said.
“Eagles,” Breer replied.
The Bears were expected to have traded Fields by now but it appears that there’s not much of a market for him. They could choose to draft Williams and still keep him yet, should he become available for a late pick, the Eagles would be interested, especially as Marcus Mariota has left for Washington.
