The NFL Players Association filed grievances against the New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders on Antonio Brown’s behalf, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The often controversial wide receiver is trying to recoup as much as $40 million in unpaid salary, fines, and voided guarantees.
Rapoport stated that the appeal won’t likely be heard until spring and added that AB faces “a major uphill battle” to win his case.
While that has a while to be determined, the NFL is still also investigating a sexual assault claim that was levied against him in a lawsuit as well as the text messages he allegedly sent another accuser that told her story to Sports Illustrated.
