There are just two weeks left in the 2019 NFL season and time is surely to run out on Antonio Brown signing with a new team. There have been several reports of about 20 potential teams who are interested him, but remain hesitant to sign him due to the league’s investigation that has not yet been completed.
Tuesday morning, Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report revealed that the controversial wide receiver is “looking at a multi-game suspension.” Other sources stated that they believe the league will suspend the former New England Patriots receiver “for at least six games” while others are thinking it might be a full season.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was asked about this ongoing investigation last week, and he said: “they still have not completed the investigation.”
Brown saw Goodell’s response and would take to Instagram to post a video of the commissioner, with the caption, “Bro what you investigating stop lying.”
The free-agent receiver has become uncapped on social media lately. One day, he’s apologizing for his behavior, and then the next, he’s going off on former teammates and calling the league racist.
The league likely won’t announce their decision until well after the season and playoffs have finished.
