Antonio Brown wants to get paid.
Antonio Brown took to social media weeks ago and asked the Raiders to release him upon finding out they had voided all of his guaranteed money in his contract following his reported argument against GM Mike Mayock.
He still wants his money and ESPN is reporting Brown “is working on” a grievance aimed at recovering unpaid wages from the Raiders, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com.
“….the NFLPA is examining various scenarios to try to return money to the player.
Among items under consideration, according to the source: three fines levied by the team, his unpaid Week 1 salary, his base salaries of $14.625 million and $14.5 million for 2019 and 2020, and a $1 million signing bonus as part of his three-year, $54-million deal signed in March.”
Brown lost out on $30 million in guaranteed money when the Raiders cut him on September 7th.
The Raiders are sure to defend any grievance levied against him as they plenty of evidence as to why they shouldn’t pay him.
Brown has played for three teams in the past seven months after spending nine seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
