Adam Schefter not being affiliated with ESPN anymore? It’s starting to become a real possibilty.
Adam Schefter’s contract is up soon and it has already been reported Caesars Sportsbook were preparing to go after the industry’s top NFL insider as its latest big talent acquisition.
According to Sports Business Journal, the gambling outlet PointsBet is considering adding ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter to their ranks. Schefter already has a pretty massive mainstream audience. Any outlet that gives him more TV airtime is likely to be appealing.
Caesars has already dipped into the ESPN talent pool, recently hiring Kenny Mayne and Trey Wingo.
Schefter has excelled since joining the Worldwide Leader in Sports from NFL Network in 2009, appearing on “Sunday NFL Countdown,” “Monday Night Countdown,” “NFL Live,” “Get Up,” and “SportsCenter.”
He would mark the biggest talent coup yet for a sports gambling company.
