The NFL is still reeling over the news of Aaron Rodgers demanding out of Green Bay because of his unhappiness with his contract and the team drafting Jordan Love last season.
Things have been bad all offseason and the team reportedly was going to grant his trade wish, but backed off.
Sources told Trey Wingo: “The Packers reportedly told Aaron Rodgers they were going to trade him in the off-season, then backed off. It’s been a bleep show between them ever since. And within the last week Rodgers told the team.. trade or no trade I’m not coming back.”
Pro Football Talk then added Rodgers’ wish list of teams that he would like to be traded to:
“As we’ve stated since the season ended, we are committed to Aaron in 2021 and beyond,” Gutekunst told ESPN. “Aaron has been a vital part of our success and we look forward to competing for another championship with him leading our team.”
