Aaron Rodgers remains upset with the public’s reception to his admission that he is not vaccinated against COVID-19, according to People.
Last week, the Green Packers quarterback tested positive for COVID-19 and missed Green Bay’s loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. He had previously stated he was vaccinated in an August press conference, telling the media when asked about his status, “I’m immunized.” We found out that was a lie on the same day he tested positive.
Green Bay’s signal-caller made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday to clear everything up, but it featured a ton of misinformation on both COVID-19 and vaccines. Rodgers now feels as though he’s “being crucified” for his remarks, per People.
“The source says that Rodgers “feels like he just shared his point of view, and now he’s being crucified for it.”
“He knew some people would disagree with him, but he didn’t know that it would become the s—storm it became. People who he thought were friends are turning on him,” the source tells PEOPLE.
“He’s upset,” the insider adds. “He’s very unhappy with the response to him.”
The report continues:
